Sherrie Barr Mack is a Public Affairs Strategist, Corporate Communications practitioner, a Financial Services representative, and a Financial Literacy and Consumer Protection Advocate.  A third-generation business owner, Sherrie is the co-founder and Managing Member of The MackBarr Group LLC, a Public Affairs Firm located in Buffalo, NY. The MackBarr Group provides guidance in addressing financial issues impacting consumers and the community at large. Sherrie is a graduate of the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy at the State University of New York in Albany, NY where she concentrated her studies on women and public policy. She began her Public Affairs career in the early 1990’s as the Public Affairs Manager for her mother’s company Upward Mobility Enterprises a Buffalo, NY woman owned industrial and safety supplies company. The CEO retired and closed the company, but Sherrie continued doing public affairs work as a publicist and advocate. An active financial literacy advocate in her community, Sherrie is a past president of the Buffalo Niagara chapter of NAWBO, and the current Chair of the chapters Advocacy committee. She has served as the Chair of the Presidents Assembly Steering Committee and had served on the NAWBO National Board.
