Linette Cottrell is a financial leadership speaker, trainer, podcast host, and accounting advisor who is redefining how women entrepreneurs experience business money. As the founder of EmpowerHER Bookkeeping + Advisory, she creates compassionate, judgment-free spaces where women can talk honestly about their finances, strengthen their confidence, and develop the leadership skills required to build financially healthy businesses.

Her work sits at the intersection of financial strategy, mindset, identity, capacity, and leadership. Rather than simply teaching women how to read financial reports, Linette explores the beliefs, emotions, habits, and life experiences that influence how they earn, manage, discuss, and make decisions about money.

Through keynote presentations, interactive workshops, webinars, courses, and facilitated conversations, Linette speaks on topics including the human side of financial leadership, the cost of financial avoidance, becoming the Financial CEO of your business, and building a business that supports both wealth and well-being. Her signature Compassionate Accounting Framework guides women beyond shame, uncertainty, and overwhelm toward clarity, informed decision-making, and sustainable growth.

Linette is also the host of the EmpowerHER Business Podcast, where she leads honest conversations about money, entrepreneurship, leadership, confidence, personal growth, and the life behind the business. The podcast extends her mission of making financial conversations more accessible, relatable, and empowering for women founders.

With more than 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, and business infrastructure, Linette brings substantial technical knowledge to every stage, training room, and conversation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida A&M University and has designed accounting systems and operational frameworks for businesses across multiple industries. She also serves as Advocacy Co-Chair for NAWBO South Florida, supporting initiatives that strengthen the voices and economic influence of women business owners.
