JULY SESSION: USING AI SAFELY IN YOUR BUSINESS

AI tools can help business owners save time, spark ideas, and streamline everyday work. But many business owners are also asking important questions about data privacy, security, and what information is safe to share when using AI.

In this session, we’ll explore how to use AI with greater confidence while protecting sensitive business, client, employee, and financial information.

Participants will learn:

• What information should not be shared with public AI tools
• How to recognize common AI and data security risks
• How to create safer prompts by removing or generalizing sensitive details
• What guardrails to consider for teams, contractors, and internal workflows
• Real-life examples of safe and unsafe AI use

This interactive session will include expert guidance, small-group discussion, and a hands-on activity participants can apply right away.

Non-member registration is limited to 15 participants per session and is available for $50 per session. Proceeds benefit the NAWBO Institute and help expand access to educational programming, resources, and opportunities that support women business owners at every stage of growth.
