Cathy is Principal/Co-founder of Aviso Consultants LLC, a boutique accounting and finance consulting firm where she partners with clients to provide experienced, collaborative solutions for their business needs. Aviso is a proud member of the National Minority Development Council and a Certified Women's Business Enterprise.

Cathy has been a licensed CPA for over 25 years.  She serves as fractional CFO to clients, as well as supports special business projects such as M&A activity, financial statement audit readiness, and cash flow analysis/optimization. 

Prior to co-founding Aviso, Cathy spent 7 years in consulting and business development roles.  Additionally, her corporate accounting experience includes Accounting and Finance Director at ABC Owned TV Stations, part of The Walt Disney Company, Internal Audit Manager at EMAK, and Accounting Manager at Beckman Coulter.  She began her career with KPMG, LLP in Assurance in its Orange County practice. 

Cathy holds a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from California Polytechnic University Pomona.  She is a licensed CPA with an active status in the State of California. 

Cathy is a lifetime member of ALPFA, where she served on both the Los Angeles and Orange County ALPFA boards, holding several board positions, including Vice President of the Los Angeles Chapter in 2005.  She also worked for the National organization as their Chief Operating Officer.  She was also a part of Disney ABC TV Group’s Latino Focus Committee, and served on the AICPA Minority Initiatives Committee.
