Carolyn Jahnke would be the first to gawk at the idea of big corporate law. In fact, she didn’t intend on becoming a lawyer — let alone becoming the founder and CEO of her own law firm, Athena Legal Solutions. She did, however, set out to advocate, support, and serve others.

Carolyn’s career began in the political and nonprofit sectors, specifically in public health, and continued in leadership positions spanning both corporate and startup companies. Throughout her 20+ year career, she built high-performance teams, advanced her companies' best interests, and never lost sight of the bigger picture of serving others. She often applies a Dr. Seuss quote to her line of thinking: “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not.”

Since 2019, Carolyn leads Athena Legal Solutions with a mission to bring peace of mind to hardworking, thoughtful entrepreneurs. Athena's vision is that every woman, especially business owners and nonprofit leaders, has a trusted advisor and partner to inspire, advise, and empower them to protect, grow, and harvest their value by taking educated legal and business risks. Carolyn believes that to protect the health and longevity of their growing businesses, they deserve proactive, pragmatic, and personalized legal and compliance advice that is as unique as they are.

Carolyn serves on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin - Badgerland Council and the Center for Community Stewardship. Carolyn received her Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Edgewood College. When not working to change the world, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her husband Roman and their four children and two dogs. She and her husband take the family on adventures, exploring the world and dreaming big together.
