Janiece fell in love with finance and graduated from Indiana Wesleyan in 2014 with her bachelor’s degree in accountancy.  She's have been in the accounting industry for over 20 years and have worked directly for small business owners, corporations and consulting firms.

Having worked for a global CPA firm exposed her to many industries at the same time. In her opinion, it is the absolute best way to gain experience as an accountant. She got hands-on application of accounting best practices, segregation of duties, financial analysis, auditing, and accounting system setup.

But, working for a CPA firm opens your eyes to what little support there is for small businesses. She disliked the “billable hours” model with managed staff and felt customer service wasn’t a priority in the industry. Her mission is to help as many small business owners as possible with setting up their financial foundation.
