Tawnya Mason

Tawnya Mason is a strategic Human Resources professional with Global, Corporate, Multi-State, Private Equity, Human Resources Business Partner and functional HR experience.  A visionary HR leader who builds trust, sets strategy, embraces change, and achieves results with personal accountability.  Tawnya is recognized as a “relationship builder” who provides expertise and engages others to meet business needs.  She has expertise in human resources leadership with a deep understanding of business and a unique ability to transform complex information into the simplest format tailored to the organization.  A focused, engaging leader recognized for developing high performance people and teams.

Tawnya holds several certifications, including HRCI-SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional). She also holds certifications in HR Analytics and Compensation.

She is highly skilled in various aspects of Human Resources including talent acquisition, compensation management, benefits management, project management, diversity and inclusion, organizational development, training, succession planning, employee engagement, employee relations, global and cultural effectiveness, and strategic planning. 

In terms of education, Tawnya has a Master's of Jurisprudence in Labor and Employment Law from Tulane University, a Master's in Business Administration with a Human Resources emphasis from Baker College, and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from the University of Kansas. 

Throughout her career, Tawnya has demonstrated her ability to adapt and learn innovative technologies, integrate Human Resources into the core functions of the executive team, and lead the HR function in overall business management. She has successfully implemented various initiatives, such as new performance management systems, training programs, onboarding processes, and benefit offerings.
