Tanessa Lee has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. This was manifested while growing up in the western suburbs of Chicago and seeing family members successfully run small businesses. Tanessa cut her teeth with a 20+ year career in the banking industry working for powerhouses like HSBC, Chase and Wintrust Financial in many different capacities. In 2005, she dived into the world of real estate while still in Corporate America and began acquiring properties throughout the Chicagoland area. Around 2009, she created T&E Investment Properties and in 2014, she acquired her real estate license and has become very seasoned in the real estate realm, while continuing to invest in property and managing several of her own properties for nearly two decades.

Tanessa’s education, financial corporate background experience and certifications have served her well in facilitating her clients understanding of the real estate transaction process from beginning to end. She has also been a key driver with her efforts in helping her clients protect their investments as well as reducing tenant turnover.

In 2017, she decided to leave corporate America to pursue her dream of entrepreneurship full-time. With a track record of success, this background prepared her for success as an entrepreneur. She is now what has become known as a "Serial Entrepreneur". ln addition to being Principal and Owner of Lee Trucking, where she focuses on transporting different freight for other businesses, while diversifying with new industries by closing contracts with different carriers and government agencies, she also runs and operates Eaze & Comfort Relocation Services for the past 8 years. Eaze and Comfort has a goal of helping displaced families move forward after fires, floods or other catastrophic events; as well as relocating corporate executives to their new homes and temporary domiciles. Both businesses are MBE & WOSB Certificed through WBENC.

Out of a deep desire to give something back, Ms. Lee founded two not-for-profit agencies. Eaze & Comfort Development Foundation and Lee Trucking & Transportation Development Foundation, both are dedicated to community development.

 Eaze & Comfort Development Foundation was created as a response to the increasing numbers of "at-risk" individuals in Chicago (and throughout the United States) and the need for a more comprehensive approach to serving them. It’s mission is to develop systemic approaches to combat poverty and homelessness among men and women, senior citizens, veterans, individual’s re-entering society after prison, those with disabilities, their families, and to enhance family economic security and well-being. They are aiming to consistently ensure that families have pristine living accommodations and essential transportation for those that have been displaced during their most vulnerable time in life.

Lee Trucking & Transportation Development Foundation offers truck driving training in order to attain a CDL License, truck driving certifications, and other job training skills to help individuals gain and maintain employment in the transportation industry.  It’s mission is to teach individuals how to be productive and promote social quality, while building up self-esteem and rise to a higher position and prepare for success while help fighting the recidivism rate.

Tanessa has an MBA from Roosevelt University and a BA from DePaul University majoring in Business for both. She resides in the Chicagoland Area opting to stay close to family!
