Suzanne Vinson

About

Suzanne L. Vinson is an artist, mother, and ordained minister living an intentional life toward wholeness, kindhearted listening, and compassionate care. Suzanne creates soul wisdom art and experiences, meant to deepen the experience of life, delight, and connection. Suzanne is a sensitive and gracious facilitator of the healing arts utilizing guided meditation, visualization, and mindful creative practice as primary tools to engage both the intellect and the human spirit.

Suzanne holds a Master of Education from Mississippi College and a Master of Divinity from Baptist Theological Seminary in Richmond, VA, with post-grad coursework done in bereavement care and chaplaincy. She has facilitated bereavement groups, retreats, and studio gatherings since 2003, and finds group facilitation to be endlessly fascinating and rewarding. She has led mindfulness retreats for individuals and groups which have included focus with young adult cancer survivors, healthcare staff, and faith-based community groups. Suzanne specializes in soul care based in pastoral care, chaplaincy, and creative spirituality.

Suzanne is the author of Broken Wide Whole: Prayers for Daily Living. 

Suzanne L. Vinson of Silver Tree Art offers her watercolor works and acrylic mixed media art to others as a means of daily delight and soul care. Her approach to art involves writing, painting, layering, and sharing. Her art takes many forms in adding delight to daily living through vinyl stickers, pin back buttons, prints, and cards. She believes each piece of art "spreads seeds of loving kindness." Her art, retreats, and gatherings are creative yoga for the soul. As a soul care provider and artist, Suzanne offers in person and online retreats, one on one mentoring sessions, and group facilitation. Each experience aims to expand the heart and provide space for compassion and loving kindness. Rev. Suzanne officiates weddings and celebrations and takes joy in each ritual.
