About

Stephanie C. White is an International Speaker and the Author of A Thousand Miles in My Shoes, a memoir that chronicles her life journey published in 2018. Stephanie C. White is also one of 40 Female Authors published in Visionary Author, Dr. Renee’ Allen’s 2023 book The J Word Anthology.  In addition to her work as an author, she serves as the, CEO, Managing Director and Lead Coordinator of Stephanie White Events, LLC, a premier event planning firm based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Stephanie launched her event planning career in August 2006 and has since built a reputation for excellence in creating memorable experiences. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and an M.S. in Management with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Maryland University College. In 2018, she completed a certification in Event Planning from the International Association of Professions Career College (IAP).  

Throughout her career, Stephanie has coordinated numerous events for her clients and is especially recognized for her two signature productions: the Spring Wedding Extravaganza Bridal Expo & Fashion Show and A Night to Remember Fundraiser Gala, which benefits the Kennedy Krieger Institute. Her company has been featured in Premier Bride Magazine Maryland, Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and Delaware for six consecutive years (2013–2019).

Beyond event planning, Stephanie is a dedicated advocate and speaker. She regularly collaborates with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), sharing her personal story and encouraging others to make safe choices. She also leads charitable initiatives, organizing donation drives and supporting local nonprofits.

Stephanie has been featured on WUSA9’s Great Day Washington, WJLA News Channel 8’s Good Morning Washington, and Let’s Talk Live, as well as several local radio programs. In 2019, she launched The Savvy Event Guru, a blog where she interviews show producers and reviews events across the country. Stephanie has also served as a Meeting Planner and Financial Professional with the U.S. Army, further expanding her expertise and professional experience. She continues to advance both her personal and professional endeavors and currently resides in Western Maryland, just North of Washington, DC.
