Rebecca Zendejas

As an artist and woodworker, Rebecca Zendejas has had a lifelong fascination with places of worship and the creation of sacred space within daily routines.  In 2018, Rebecca began designing and constructing  one of a kind altars for homes, offices and community spaces.  The name ‘zendohous’ is inspired by the Japanese word ‘zendo’, which translates as ‘a place of practice’; and the Asian traditions of placing a ‘spirit house’ in the home, business or neighborhood.
