Michelle Rouland has been a proud NAWBO member of the Central Illinois chapter since 2008.  Her passion to support fellow women business owners has led her to leading positions within the chapter such as President, Past President and Treasurer as well as involvement in Information and Libation, Programs, Membership and Pathways Conference Committees.

Michelle owns Escape 60, Live Escape Room Adventures where she and her husband Steve develop and build their own unique escape rooms. Her location currently has 5 unique adventure choices. Additionally, Escape 60 is located in Studios on Sheridan where there is 22,000 square feet of working artist studios, art galleries, quirky shops and a glass blower also owned by the Roulands in partnership.

Previously, after earning a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction, Michelle built and ran a successful early childhood school, A+ Children’s Academy for 11 years before recently selling the business and building. She was an educator of children for over 30 years and of teachers for over 20 years.
