An award-winning 25-year entrepreneur and interior designer, sought-after speaker, leader, author/co-author of several books, including her memoir “Walking Afraid” and “Declaring to Win: The Fight,” women overcoming adversities and still standing strong. She has been identified in The Wall Street Journal as "One of the 111 Most Promising Business Leaders“. 

As an international speaker and inspirational strategist, she has empowered many people with her life story, including the life-changing opportunity to decorate at the White House for Christmas and the HGTV interviews. In 2024, Carnela returned to Capitol Hill to speak on behalf of entrepreneurs in the Southeastern Region. 

Carnela is the CEO and Principal Designer of CR Hill Design Group and CEO of C3 Impact Strategies, a firm that provides crisis coaching, chaplaincy, and spiritual counseling for start-ups, executives, and those needing spiritual direction. She has an electric way of attracting people to her across various platforms and internationally.

Carnela has served on many boards, won many awards, and is always giving back with her philanthropic spirit. She received the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Advocacy of the Year Award in 2023 and the Susan Hager Award at NAWBO-GR Chapter in 2022. Carnela is a servant leader committed to seeing people succeed! It is not unusual to find Carnela surrounded by young people as she pours into them and empowers them to walk by faith.

Carnela is an avid reader. She enjoys shopping, spending time with family, and making a difference in the community, as well as traveling and trying new dishes.
