Monica Arroyo, LCSW is the Clinical Director of Family Therapy Group of Weston. She has over 20 years of experience in mental health counseling. Her passion for establishing Family Therapy Group of Weston came from the belief that families are the most important factor in our community and as such they need support and understanding. After working with hundreds of families, it became clear that if any of the members of a family unit struggles then everyone else at home struggles too. She was able to understand that not all families are created the same but that all families have the same longing for connection, closeness and belonging. 

This is how the center evolved to be a place where every member of a family would have a space to be heard and understood. Every single therapist in our team has been selected for their specific training and experience as well as for their non-judgemental and compassionate approach. We provide Individual, Family, Couples, Teens and Child counseling to serve every need that a family can have.

Monica has been extensively trained in EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) and Gottman, two of the most well regarded therapeutic approaches in couples counseling. Her passion remains in helping others create a lasting connection and working closely with the therapists in her team to provide the best quality of care.
