Misha Adams is the founder of The Baking Agent, a small-batch baked goods brand based in Richmond, Virginia, where flavor, balance, and technique take center stage.

Before launching her business, Misha spent over a decade in consulting, leading complex projects and navigating high-stakes environments. Today, she channels that same strategic mindset into building a brand that’s equal parts thoughtful and joyful—creating cookies and desserts that are refined, intentional, and worth every bite.

The Baking Agent began as a side project while she worked toward her real estate license (hence the name), but quickly became something more: a way to create connection, spark delight, and build a business rooted in both creativity and care.

When she’s not baking, Misha works in real estate under her brand “Home with Misha,” bringing the same level of clarity, trust, and attention to detail to her clients’ home journeys.

Misha holds a B.S. in Mass Communications from VCU and an MBA from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She lives in North Chesterfield, VA with her partner, Michael and two pugs Lily and Kathy.
