Mary Breen

About

Mary Breen, LCSW, SEP is a licensed psychotherapist and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She is the founder and clinical director of Repose, a group practice specializing in somatic and trauma-informed therapies, including EMDR, which she has led since 2019 with locations in Pleasantville and New York City.

Mary also assists with professional training through Somatic Experiencing® International Institute and brings a multidisciplinary lens to her work. Her clinical interests include the ethical and practical application of psychedelic-assisted therapy, therapeutic breath work, yoga as a clinical and contemplative practice, and the integration of spirituality in psychotherapy.

She is deeply passionate about building a diverse, women-led business valuing collaborative accountability, and is a proud founding member of the Pleasantville Pride Committee, where she supports grassroots community engagement and advocacy for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies.
