Elizabeth Clifton is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mariposa Home Care, a woman-owned, minority-owned in-home care company serving seniors and families across the Twin Cities.


As Founder & CEO, she leads the company’s strategic direction, operations, business development, regulatory compliance, and organizational growth.


Prior to founding Mariposa Home Care, Elizabeth spent more than 15 years leading enterprise growth, transformation, and strategic operations across Fortune 500 organizations including Avery Dennison, Vestcom, General Mills, and global management consulting firm Kearney. 


Throughout her career, she has led enterprise portfolios exceeding $360M, negotiated high-value partnerships, and delivered measurable operational and commercial growth across retail, supply chain, marketing, procurement, and consumer industries.


Elizabeth combines executive business leadership with hands-on healthcare expertise as a Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and trained Birth & Postpartum Doula. Her work is grounded in a passion for culturally responsive care, community-centered leadership, and innovative approaches to supporting seniors and families.


She has been recognized nationally as a Progressive Grocer Top Women in Grocery – Senior Executive Level honoree and has been featured in industry media and leadership forums focused on economic development, healthcare innovation, and business strategy.
