Dr. Lakeiah Cheatham

Dr. Lakeiah Cheatham is an award-winning educator with nearly three decades of experience supporting the needs in K-12 and post-secondary education. Experience on campuses as a teacher and administrator in large urban and suburban settings has proven to be beneficial to understanding the needs of stakeholders. Her research based and common sense approach to supporting educator practice has proven to increase student achievement in a wide variety of school settings across the continental United States, virtually and in-person. Partnering with post-secondary institutions and the Texas Workforce Commission has provided the opportunity to help with the growing needs of learners in all age ranges and ability levels. Her works have been celebrated as a campus administrator of the year, noted as an Ed Tech Rookie of the Year, and documented as an extraordinary knowledgeable presenter that increases practitioner effectiveness.
