Hello! I’m ChristyFloriani and I’m a mom, a business owner, and a determined advocate for literacy. I’ve been in social work for almost 30 years, and I’ve seen too many families get stuck underneath their circumstances.

Whether it’s poverty, dysfunctional relationships, employment barriers, parenting challenges, or a myriad of other reasons, the families I’ve served point to one hope for their future. That channel for hope is education and the vehicle for education is literacy.

I own Freadom Promotions with my husband, Brian. Brian is the founder of Bernie’s Book Bank, a NPO serving under-resourced Chicagoland children with books.

We established Freadom Promotions as a conduit to both amplify awareness of and direct resources towards the literacy crisis in America. We do this because we know that you must be able read to participate on a meaningful level in our economy and our communities.

We’re resolutely determined to move the needle on literacy. We hope you are too!
