Becky Larason is an accomplished financial services executive with a distinguished career spanning nearly three decades in private banking and leadership roles across the Kansas City region. She currently serves as Private Banking Market President at Simmons Bank, where she leads the growth and strategic expansion of the bank’s private banking presence across the metropolitan area. In this role, she oversees Kansas City private banking and works collaboratively with partners across Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, and Consumer Banking to deliver comprehensive, relationship-driven financial solutions. 

Prior to joining Simmons Bank, Becky built a deep foundation of expertise through executive leadership positions, including serving as Chief Operating Officer for two Kansas City–area law firms, where she strengthened operational performance and organizational effectiveness. Earlier in her career, she spent more than five years at CrossFirst Bank (now First Busey Bank) as Director of Private Banking and Private Banking Partner, following a 12-year tenure at UMB Bank in roles such as Vice President of Private Banking Physician Services and Regional Manager of Business Banking. Her experience reflects a long-standing commitment to elevating client service, leading high-performing teams, and supporting the financial growth of professionals, business owners, and families throughout the region. 

Becky is recognized for her strengths in individualization, restorative thinking, collaboration and positivity, traits that shape her leadership philosophy and approach to client relationships. She is deeply engaged in the Kansas City community, having served on boards for organizations such as Friendship Inn, Jackson County CASA, and Infant Loss Resources while volunteering her time through EmpowHER and Big Brothers Big Sisters Kansas City —demonstrating her passion for supporting children, families, and community wellbeing. 

She is a proud mother of two children, and she maintains an extensive professional network of peers and community leaders across the region. With a reputation for empathy, strategic insight, and a client-first mindset, Becky continues to shape the future of private banking in Kansas City while championing meaningful community impact.
