Babette Buckner, a seasoned leader in business and construction, brings over three decades of

expertise to her role as the CEO of Moltron Builders. Under her guidance, Moltron Builders is 

becoming a powerhouse in the construction industry, offering a comprehensive suite of services, 

Including Construction Management, General Contracting, Project Management, and Design-Build 

Services.

Babette's remarkable career spans a diverse array of disciplines, including business policy,

organizational development, operations, corporate finance, accounting, and information technology.

Her strategic mindset and a deep understanding of construction dynamics have been

instrumental in scaling and growing companies.

A trailblazer for diversity and inclusion, Babette actively challenges industry norms. Having served on

the board of directors for the National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC), she brings a 

wealth of experience to her advocacy for underrepresented groups. Babette is also a current board 

member for Women Venture, contributing to initiatives that empower and support women in 

business. Her leadership extends to MnDot’s DBE & Workforce Collaborative Steering Committee, 

where she plays a pivotal role in shaping inclusive growth strategies.

As a proud member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and the

Association of Women Contractors (AWC), Babette is a vocal advocate for women in business. Her

impactful leadership roles reflect her commitment to creating opportunities for underrepresented groups.

Babette holds a unique position as the qualified residential license holder for Moltron Builders in the

state of Minnesota, showcasing her versatility in both commercial and residential construction.

Her educational journey includes an MA in Psychology from Adler Graduate School, a BA with an

emphasis in Economics and a minor in African American studies from The University of Minnesota.

Additionally, she holds a Certificate of Organizational Development from Walden University. Beyond 

her professional pursuits, Babette enjoys various activities, including horseback riding, dancing, 

cross-country skiing, reading, and metaphysical studies. Her multifaceted approach to life mirrors her 

diverse career, showcasing a leader dedicated to professional excellence and personal fulfillment.
