Ashley Wise
About
Ashley is a dedicated educator and accomplished pianist with a B.M. in Piano Performance from Middle Tennessee State University and an M.M. in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Tennessee. With over 25 years of teaching experience, she runs a private piano studio and has taught group piano at the collegiate level at Denison University and served as a piano instructor for the Suzuki Community School also at Denison University. Ashley also serves as an accompanist for various ensembles in the Columbus area.
Using her voice to make a difference, Ashley presented at the inaugural Context Conference 2023 at The Eastman School of Music and is a voice actor (Mama Keys) for the PRX-sponsored podcast Keyshawn Solves It on PBS Kids.
She actively participates in the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), having served as Vice President of Teacher Activities, currently chairs local and state conferences, and is a part of the MTNA national conference planning committee. She also co-founded The Parent Diversity Network, Inc., a nonprofit organization promoting inclusivity within her school district.
