Wendy Salerno is the co-founder and co-owner of Darianna® Bridal & Tuxedo in the Philadelphia region.  The store is a full service bridal and tuxedo store that offers wedding dresses, tuxedos, suits, mother of the bride and groom dresses and prom dresses.

The store's name, Darianna®, is the combination of her daughters' names: Daria and Deanna.  The idea for the store came to Wendy out of frustration of not having adequate options when shopping for prom dresses with her oldest daughter.  

On a return flight from an overseas wedding, Wendy wrote out the business plan on an airline drink napkin and 3 months later, Darianna® Bridal & Tuxedo opened.  The business was an immediate success.  The store moved to a space three times the original store's size and continues to successfully serve the entire Philadelphia region.

Darianna® Bridal & Tuxedo prides itself on providing a pleasant shopping experience in a relaxed and fun environment.  Wendy focuses on creating the best customer experience and publishing expert wedding content and blogs to help brides, grooms, mother and fathers plan for a successful wedding.  She is the visionary for directing the business' strategy and helping guide the marketing strategy for continued business and financial success of the store.  

In 2024, Darianna® Bridal & Tuxedo was named top 100 small and medium sized business in America by the U.S. Chamber of commerce.  

When not working 7 days a week, Wendy enjoys extensive international travel and fine dining with her husband and two daughters.
