National Board Chair Dr. Janis Shinkawa participated in the U.S. Department of the Treasury Small Business Roundtable; CEO Jen Earle spoke at the National Women’s Business Council (NWBC) public meeting; and National Board Member Sandra Clitter took part in the Financial Literacy and Wealth Creation Caucus Small Business Staff Briefing.

It’s official, NAWBO Wisconsin, an off-shoot of Chicago, is now its own NAWBO chapter that new members can choose from when they join! Congratulations to the entrepreneurial women of the Badger State, who according to the state’s latest economic profile, own 41.4 percent of businesses. Also, congratulations to NAWBO Chicago, who supported Wisconsin in becoming its own chapter and will continue to help lead it.
