As NAWBO HQ gets ready for one epic celebration for our 50th anniversary in 2025, we’ve re-envisioned our events calendar for the next year to include a road show to marquee chapter events across the country. We are now working to identify chapters with awards galas and fundraising, membership and anniversary events between now and June 2025 that would like to welcome members from the surrounding region. We will shine the national spotlight on these events and send special guests, including NAWBO Board and team members. NAWBO National Advocacy Microbusiness Listening Tour and Regional Update
|
Tuesdays, March 19, April 16 and May 21 at 9 a.m. PT/11 a.m. CT/12 p.m. ET
Join the NAWBO National Advocacy Committee to discuss and give feedback on NAWBO’s draft of a microbusiness definition to be utilized by the federal government to increase access to capital and procurement for our nation’s microbusiness owners.
February: Reviewed a Draft Outline of the Definition created after January Listening Session March: Review a Draft Text of the Definition for Comment April: Fine tune our Final Definition May: Release NAWBO’s microbusiness definition that we will be taking to Capitol Hill for NAWBO Days!
Also, get a regional advocacy update each month this winter and spring. We heard from the Northeast Region in January and Midwest Region in February. We’ll hear from the Southern Region in March, the Western Region in April and the Western/California Region in May.
